With 20 years of cooperation between behind them, VOA and Moncigale have now developed a new bottle for the rosés of Moncigale from Coteaux d’Aix, Coteaux Varois, Corsica and Bandol. These key AOCs have made Moncigale a rosé specialist in the south of France.
Why develop this bottle with VOA?
We have worked effectively with VOA for more than 20 years now, so it’s entirely natural that we turned to them and their reactivity in order to develop this bottle.
Why develop a customized bottle for these rosés?
We wanted to evoke the geography of our wines from Provence and Corsica in the minds of our clients. This is why we made this bottle with the emblem of the cicada and the sun embossed on the glass. Our idea was for the bottle itself to be rooted in its geography.
Moreover, the label brings to mind the south of France, with colors recalling the Mediterranean, the sun, the lavender and the hills characteristic of this region and which give it its distinctive charm. We are proud of our region and we want to convey that to our customers. These rosés are magnificent ambassadors.
Is Moncigale now a major player among rosés in the south of France?
We are one of the largest producers of rosé in the Languedoc and Provence Alpes-Côte d’Azur and the first for the Coteaux d’Aix appellation.
