We’ve produced 2 bottles with the VOA : the « Élite » model and the « Epoque » (Epoch) model. In both cases, we carried out these projects with the sole desire to create exceptional bottles in order to highlight the quality of these premier wines.
The Cordier Club Élite alone consists of 12 vintages of prestigious appellation, such as Margaux, Pauillac, Saint-Estèphe, Saint-Emilion Grand cru or Pomerol, including a Grand Cru classified in1855, the Château Pouget à Margaux. As for the Époque D.Cordier-1886 Collection, there are 4 vintages, heirs of the old Cordier estates.
It’s been several years now that we’ve had a privileged partnership with the VOA. The renowned creativity of the team captivated us and encouraged us to involve them in our projects; they are very attentive to a client’s needs and are equally flexible in responding to our requirements.
What’s more, both companies have the benefit of being rather venerable. They’ve both been through the major events of the 20th century and the “master glassmaker “ aspect of the VOA corresponds completely with our “Grands vins” approach. The expression is often overused but with the VOA we can honestly speak of a “win-win” partnership.
For the ÉLITE model, we were inspired by the design of the Bordeaux bottle while looking for a model both distinctive and innovative.
On the other hand, for the ÉPOQUE model, we based it upon the glassmaker's plans from the 1940s found in our precious archives.
It’s all this work and desire for the personalization of each bottle that make our Bordeaux wines such unique prestige products.
Our identity, written under our logo, can be summarized as “creator of oeno-emotions”. We want to create an emotion with the help of these two absolutely magical bottles and with VOA for a partner.
For more than a year, we’ve been developing a strong digital strategy, both with the internet and e-commerce as well as with mobile marketing. At the latest Vinexpo we presented an iPad application dedicated to our sales force.
We are also working on a plan that offers a lot of added value packaging-wise in proposing true collector’s boxes of four bottles designed for premier wines. Wood, leather, lacquer and even 22 karat gold, the 4BOX range offers a unique alternative for lovers of premier wines.
